Bicol

Right after the graduation I took the bus for joining the Bicol tour. I spent two amazing days in the South Luzon region. In Legazpi we rode twice ATV for going to the Mayon Vulcano. One of the best things I ever did! :) We planned to swim with whale sharks, but unfortunately there were none… Anyways we enjoyed our trip.
See you soon, Andrea

It was great! :)

Bye bye HRC :(

Last Saturday I finally graduated High School. It was a big celebration, which last for four hours. I’m happy and sad at the same time that I’m now finished with school. Now I can travel, no more waking up before 6 am and being sleepy in class. But on the other hand I’ll miss all those awesome people, the great teachers and the daily Filipino school life. Thanks for all those unforgettable memories. I will miss all of you!

Flowerpower :)

I spent the last four days in the north of Luzon. It’s definitely one of my favourite places in the Philippines. The landscapes are amazing, the climate is comfortable, the people are happy and everything is full with colors. By the way it was around 16 degrees and I was freezing. Wish me luck when I’m back in Switzerland. ;)

I didn’t want to give the impression in my last blog that I don’t want to go home. One half wants to go home and can’t wait and the other half doesn’t want to leave and can’t even imagine going back to Switzerland.

My best sister in the world – I miss you so much and I can’t wait to see you. I’m sad that you can’t visit me, but for sure we will have the opportunity to explore the world together. I love you so much. <3

See you soon, Andrea

Like in a dream :)

Today I’m too lazy to write in German. I hope you can all understand me.
In the last four weeks so many things happened. So I just try to give you an update.
On February 17th my hostbrother had a soccer tournament in Manila. I went with my hostfamily there and his team was at the end the first runner-up. Congrats, JR!

The other week I had finally my presentation about Switzerland in my hostclub.

On Saturday was the 108th Rotary anniversary. For that event we went by a motorcade to Calamba and celebrated there.

The first weekend in March was really busy, but believe it or not I’m used to that. On Saturday we participated in the Rotary Sportfest.

On Sunday we had Family Fun Day from Raiza’s and JR’s school and after lunch a birthday party.
Last Thursday all the ROTEX went to Boracay. We spent five unforgettable and amazing days on this wonderful island. White beach, blue sea, great parties, delicious food and drinks (especially smoothies) and and and. On MacKenzie’s birthday (March 8th) we went Helmet Diving and Parasailing. The other day we enjoyed the beach and had a lazy day. On Sunday we went by boat to Ariel’s Point with about 60 other people. There you could go cliff jumping, snorkelling, kayaking or swimming. It was amazing. On Monday it was already time to say goodbye, unfortunately. I hope that wasn’t the last time I’ll be there.

Two days ago was CAT graduation in my school and now we are busy preparing for graduation on March 23rd.
Today we have another Rotex Trip. This time we’ll go to the north. I hope I’ll be able to write another update soon.
At the moment I have the feeling my time is running out. In a month my parents are arriving and you can’t imagine how excited I am. By the way I’m trying to prepare my debut (18th birthday). It will be a huge party with about eighty guests.

It seems weird to think about going back to Switzerland. I have my new life here and with everything that has changed I have changed with it. To see the end nearing it freaks me out, but I will also be happy when I see everybody back home in Switzerland. Let's enjoy the last two months.

Love you all, Andrea
